Tip of the Month: Multiple Price Rules

Customize Grids.

View and manage your information in the web backend exactly the way you like it, using our super-flexible table grids.

To adjust your view, use the Edit Layout button above the grid you’re working on. You can customize grids for Customer Orders, Purchase Orders, Bulk Pivot Editor, Supplier Items, Item Suppliers, Bulk Edit Items, Print Labels, POS Entries and Bulk Order Service. Speak to your agent if you need assistance.

Merge Customers.

Got stuck with two accounts for the same customer? Use the new Merge Customer tool to combine two customer profiles into one.

In the Customer page, select the small arrow to the right of the Save button and click on Merge Customer. This deletes the customer and merges all information, including transaction history, into the other customer account.

Reports.

Got some quiet time? Many business owners, especially in the retail space, are so busy working in the business that they don’t make time to work on the business.

Don’t let this stop you from spending quality time with your system’s reports. They’re the secret to making sure your business is profitable to the max. First Choice POS reports tell you so much need to know – about transactions, customers, suppliers, products and so much more. Make it a point to study them, compare data over time, and consider how they might help you make better business decisions.

Tip of the Month:
Multiple Price Rules.

Get the most out of features you might already be using.

If you have multiple price rules in place, set priorities to determine which ones get applied first. For example, say you want to take off 10% and then 5%. The 10% rule should be priority 1 and 5% priority 2 or later.

Check off Must Be Last Rule if no other price rules should be applied after it.
