To get the latest version: Your business must be signed up to receive the update. Close the POS program on your computer. When you re-launch the POS, a popup will prompt you to update to the latest version. This will give you access to the new features.
End of Day Email.
It’s like having a personal assistant. The First Choice POS system can send you an email at the end of the day to update you on the vital information of your business. Select the information that you want – such as sales, sales with tax, returns, credit card totals, a list of every sale (including customers), and more.
Canned Email Fields.
The new Advanced Configurations page has a helpful tool to add preset content for emails from the system. Add a default footer, automatically CC an email address, and more. These fields can be set to apply only with certain conditions, such as by user, priority or customer.
For example, you can have someone else cc’ed on emails to a specific customer or a unique footer with signature for different employees.
Note: Since it’s a sensitive and powerful feature, this tool can be set only by those with higher security permissions in your business.
Another Note: If a customer or supplier has multiple emails on their account, the system can be set to insert all of them. You can choose whether to leave them or send only to the relevant ones.
Past Emails Sent.
Customer claims they did not receive an email? Now you can see Past Emails Sent right in your email sender. View Subject of the email, what you wrote, who it was sent to, when it was sent and more.
Specify Sales Rep in Checkout.
Now you can attach a sales rep to a sale right in the POS. Simply select the employee from the list. Call or reply to this email to request this feature.
Manage Customer Balances.
Have a customer account that seems off? The new Manage Balances page shows you all transactions with that customer so you can see how the account evolved over time and where the balance went off.
You can then recalculate right on the page or link/unlink transactions appropriately.
Export Reports to FTP.
If you need reports automatically transmitted to an FTP server, now there’s an easy way to do it. Our new Export to FTP feature automatically exports reports right where you need it – without the extra export and import steps.
Order Matrix Printout.
Print your orders – Customer Orders and Purchase Orders – as a matrix in a pivot table, not just an item list. This is a great way to visually map out the items in the order and calculate totals accordingly.
