January 2019: POS Update

More On A Page | Re-Price
Auto-Calculate Markup/Markdown | Payment Terms
…and lots more

If you don’t have the latest version, close the POS program on your computer. When you re-launch it, the popup will prompt you to update to the latest version. This will give you access to the newest features. It is recommended to restart the POS daily.

Think someone else should be receiving these email updates?

More On A Page.

Now you can have page tabs pre-selected to show multiple sections on a backend page. This means that if certain tabs are more commonly used, they can be set up to appear on the page every time. Click to learn how.

Re-Price.

Change a price for a particular order, without permanently changing the item price in the system. Simply right-click any field in an order or purchase order and select the Re-Price option.

Auto-Calculate Markup/Markdown.

Want to mark up everything from a certain supplier 50%?

How about marking down a certain amount from MSRP for every item in a certain category?

You can also have a button to automatically calculate it for you, if you don’t want it by default. Call your agent and we’ll help you set up the system to make these kinds of calculations.

Payment Terms.

Add your own payment terms to invoices and purchase orders. You can use terms such as cash in advance and net 7 days (or any other time frame). Call your agent to set it up.

And a Few More Updates…

  • Scrolling in order lists – if you have multiple pages of items in a customer order or purchase order, pressing the down arrow on the keyboard will automatically take you to the next page of items.
  • Sort attributes numerically – in addition to sorting alphabetically, attribute lists in matrix/pivot tables can be sorted numerically (10 after 9 instead of after 1). Just click the “Sort Numerically” button in the attributes list.
  • Option to create, move and rename categories on your own from the web backend
  • Action confirmations, such as “Item Saved” or “Supplier Added”, have been moved from the top right of pages to the left page footers
  • Item search is now available right in page footers
  • Support and wiki pages moved to page footers
  • Connection status visible in page footers
  • Edit page layout in page footers (for pages that have page layout options)
  • …and many more throughout the system.
