Newly NTEP Certified.

First Choice POS was evaluated under the National Type Evaluation Program and found to comply with the applicable technical requirements of “Weighing and Measuring Devices.”

In addition to our other compliances, your scale and integrated POS system is now officially certified by NTEP.

Multiple Email Addresses from the POS.

You can now use multiple SMTP email addresses to send emails from the POS system. Every user can have their own email address, or separate email addresses for different divisions.

Easy Label Widgets.

We all know First Choice POS is an incredibly powerful and customizable software, with myriads of ways to make things faster and easier. Here’s a great set of widgets one of our clients uses on their dashboard that you might find useful: Easy label printouts. Whenever they need a new label for a product, a quick barcode scan prints the label right out.

They also have a widget for sales labels when they need to do a quick price change. It not only prints the sale price, but also associates the item to the price rule in the back end. It’s a perfect combination of tracking and convenience in one easy scan.

Organize Rows in Orders/Purchase Orders.

The new Add At button gives you the option to insert the next item into the item list before the line you’re currently on, after the line you’re on, at the top of the list or at the bottom. The default setting is to add items to the bottom of the list.

To add this button, select Show Add At Selection in Edit Page Layout.

  • Support for hover on images in Items list
  • Option on item import to set/create an alias as a case
  • Add display index for kit/group/case in Item Edit page to organize the list
  • Fixed issue with entering voucher number with a space at checkout
  • Option not to save card on file by default

If you don’t have the latest version, close the POS program on your computer. When you re-launch it, the popup will prompt you to update to the latest version. This will give you access to the newest features. It is recommended to restart the POS daily.
