Accept Food Stamps

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as Food Stamps, provides food-purchasing assistance for low-income people.

To accept Food Stamps:

1. Conduct a sale as usual
2. In the Payment screen, select Food Stamp as a tender
3. Swipe the Food Stamp card or input card info
4. Pay remaining balance with another tender, such as cash or credit card

Note:
- Food Stamp items don't charge tax
- Food Stamp items cannot be accepted as a return
