The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), known as Food Stamps, provides food-purchasing assistance for low-income people.
To accept Food Stamps:
- Conduct a sale as usual
- In the Payment screen, select Food Stamp as a tender
- Swipe the Food Stamp card or input card info
- Pay remaining balance with another tender, such as cash or credit card
Note: - Food Stamp items don't charge tax - Food Stamp items cannot be accepted as a return
