Discounts can easily be applied using the 
button on the left panel:
In the Discount panel, select 
to discount the entire sale. [To discount an individual item, see Discount an Item.]
There are 3 types of discounts for a sale:
- Discount a percentage.
Sale discounted 10% - Change total price.
Total changed to $1,800 - Take off a set amount.

Discount Approval From Manager
Want to request approval from a manager before allowing a discount? Speak to your agent about setting up discount approvals.
The POS can be set up to send a text message to a manager to request a discount approval.
It can also be set up to send approval requests to a backup number if there’s no response from the manager after 10 seconds (or however long you choose).
View Discounts Applied
To view discounts applied, enter CTRL + ALT + D.
