- For orders with multiple shipments to the same recipient, see Supply Order in Multiple Shipments.
To send a customer order to multiple destinations, such as a gift order for different recipients or a wholesale order for different customer locations:
Create Shipments
- Create the order or purchase order as usual.
- Change the order state to Close or Complete.
- After adding items, select the Shipping Boxes button at the bottom right of the page, in the Actions section.
- Drag the little number box from the Pending Shipping column on the left to the +Add Shipping button on the right. It will create a shipment for that item.*
- Add the recipient’s Address for that item and any Shipping Notes (such as wording for the note on the gift basket or shipping details).
- If you use our EasyPost integration to create shipments with the carriers, select the icon on top (near the printer icon) to open Order Service in a new tab. Create the shipment as usual. The tracking number will appear at the top right.
- To add other items to that shipment, simply drag them from the left into the same shipping box on the right. To add other items to a new shipment, drag them from the left to the +Add Shipping button under the last shipment.
- Save.
Track Shipping
To track the shipments and update where they are in the process:
- From your dashboard, go to Transactions > Shipping. You’ll see a bird’s-eye view of all the shipments created.
- Find the shipment you want to update and select the dropdown in the Workflow State column. You can select whether it’s up to Packing – Ready 4 Pickup – Shipped – Delivered/Picked Up.
On this page you can also print invoices, print labels and more.
* By default, it will create a shipment for one unit at a time and you can adjust the Quantity on the right. To change the default to the full qty ordered for that item (i.e. it automatically creates a shipment for all 10 Medium Baskets in the order, instead of one at a time, go to Pages Setup / Manage Txn Shippings and uncheck the box for Add Only 1 On Drag.
