To accept payments in the back end:
- Open your Dashboard.
- Select Transactions from the Main Navigation menu on the left.
- Select Payments.
- Select + New Payment above the table.
- Select the Type of payment: Customer Payment, Customer Refund, Supplier Payment, Supplier Credit.
- Select the Customer or Supplier (double-click in the field to pull up the Finder).
- Select Open from the top right of the page to start the payment.
- Select Load Payable Items from the bottom of the screen. It will populate the table with items that can be linked to the payment.
- Select the Add Tender button.
- Then Please Select, which will open a dropdown to select the tender type. If it’s cash, you can select the dollar bills in the payment. for any other tender, fill out the information as usual.
- Select Save at the top of the page.
- When finished with the payment, change the state from Open to Closed.
