If the internet or a server is ever down, the POS will automatically enter Offline Mode.
In fewer than 20 seconds, a yellow bar will appear at the bottom of the POS, advising that you are in Offline Mode.
You will be able to use basic checkout functions, including:
- Searching items
- Searching customers
- Scanning items
- Completing transactions
These will continue to operate while offline, then synchronize with the system as soon as your connection is restored.
Note: If multiple computers are in use, it's possible for a customer credit balance to be overwritten. Refrain from adjusting balances while offline to avoid confusion. For the same reason, avoid using vouchers (gift cards) while in Offline Mode.
